​I'm no fan of chewing gum.


It's a bad habit to always be chewing, chewing, chewing. You're giving ​your stomach all these bad signals that food is coming.


You're also swallowing saliva laden with artificial sugars (some of which have been shown to be neurotoxins) and ingredients like titanium oxide.


Titanium oxide is a ​whitening powder often used in ​things like ​toothpaste, mayonnaise, bread and skim milk be ​to make them appear white.


But studies have come out showing it can negatively affect your ​digestive system.


​One study in particular from Binghamton University showed titanium oxide makes it more difficult for your intestines to absorb iron, zinc and fatty acids like omega-3 and omega-6.


Would you want to be deficient in these nutrients while trying to get rid of Candida?


I don't think so. ​​​Avoid chewing gum, you don't need it.
